Description: Sr5232 12/17/2014 5:09 pm apts 1, 5 and 8 have all had small electrical fires/wires melting and at the cable box outside have had at least 15 wires melted/burnt due to bad electricity in the building. bright house is threatening to stop all services immediately to our building and i am scared that once that happens, our building will burn down due to bad wires inside the building. i have been in constant contact with apartment management and upper management to no avail. teco has been out and shut off power due to the building electrical issues and would not turn back on. the electrician the apartment complex hired turned back on power while a bright house tech was inside the apt getting a high reading of 146/149 (safe 120-130) but the electrician refused to see the evidence. the issue has been ongoing since oct/dec but i didn't realize what exactly was happening with the electricity until jan bc the problem presents itself in the bright house coax wires. please, i have tried once before to get into contact with you but i am terrified that once bright house disconnects their ground wire from our building that there will be a fire immediately after. the tenants in apt 1 and apt 5 also have set top boxes from brighthouse (digital cable) and they are also experiencing wires melting, smoking, etc. we don't know where else to go or what to do at this point bc the apt complex is just ignoring the issue. thank you for your time, sincerely, heather thurman regarding contact heather thurman first name heather last name thurman phone number 8134283628 mobile number -- email address [email protected]

Description: I'm not really sure what the problem is. the cable in this apartment & others in the same building keeps going out. brighthouse says that the electric is to blame & that there's electricity coming through the cable wires & melting the cable. the property management team says that this is not their responsibility. brighthouse won't touch it because it's not a cable issue, it's a power issue. all i know is that none of this is my fault but i'm the one paying the price. they told me that the electric is faulty & needs to be fixed. this problem has been going on since december.
