Description: Residence has been unoccupied for over a year and unmaintained. grass well over 10 inches in height. shrubbery unmaintained and overgrown. citrus trees in backyard harboring rodents. residence has attracted unwelcomed loitering of unfamiliar adolescents as well as others inquiring about the property. residence poses a threat to the safety of surrounding homes and their occupants. residence located within a few hundred feet of seffner elementary school and is located in an area surrounded by well maintained homes and properties. it is in definite violation of the following statute: nuisance conditions: debris, weeds, grass and underbrush - it shall be unlawful for any owner, lessee or occupant of any premises, lot, plot or tract of land to allow or permit or maintain at any time upon any such premises, lot, plot or tract of land any nuisance conditions, weeds, grass or underbrush of a height exceeding ten (10) inches or other unsightly or unsanitary accumulation which actually harbors or is likely to harbor rodents, insects, reptiles or any poison or germ carriers within two hundred (200) feet of any building, structure, recreational area or street right of way and which is determined to constitute a nuisance and is dangerous to human health and safety by the housing official. nuisance conditions shall also mean (a) any nuisance as defined by law, or (b) any attractive nuisance which may be detrimental to the health or safety of children whether in a building, on the premises of a building, or upon an unoccupied lot.
